J.T. Snow played 16 years in the Major Leagues with the New York Yankees, Anaheim Angels, San Francisco Giants, and briefly with the Boston Red Sox. J.T. spent majority of his career playing first base with the San Francisco Giants from 1998 to 2006 and collecting 4 of his six career Gold Gloves during that span. J.T Snow is also the son of Los Angeles Rams Pro-Bowl Wide Receiver Jack Snow.

J.T. Snow attended the University of Arizona where he played in a College World Series with teammates Trevor Hoffman (2nd all-time Major League saves holder with 601 total saves), Kevin Long (New York Yankees Hitting Coach), lan Zinter (current hitting coach with Padres) and Scott Erickson (Matt Walbeck caught his No-Hitter in 1994).

Snow was the 5th round selection for New York Yankees in 1989 and began his professionalcareer as a switch hitter but eventually committed exclusively to his left handed swing. J.T. Snow grinded 7.5 in the minor leagues before debuting with the New York Yankees at the end of the 1992 season.

While Snow was an elite defensive player (6 career Gold Glove Awards, more than several Hall of Famers), he was a vital offensive weapon during the Giant’s 2002 Post-Season run boasting a .350 batting average, including posting a dominant .407 batting average in the 2002 World Series (Leading both teams in hits in the series, 11). Snow’s most successful season came in 2004 when he boasted a .327 in his age 36 season. Snow also can boast that he is one of the players to have played with Barry Bonds and Manny Ramirez, two of the greatest hitters from their sides of the plate in recent history.
