Chris Grew up in Norwich, Connecticut, and started playing baseball at the age of 5. He continued playing little league through Junior League, and then at Norwich Free Academy as a utility infielder and a pitcher.
During his High School days, he not only played American Legion Travel Ball but also playing for a local travel ball around East Lyme, Connecticut. While playing High School ball, he was an assistant coach for America’s Gamers travel ball team coaching U9 to U14 teams.
After High School he played for Three Rivers Community College as a corner infielder, second baseman and pitcher until he transferred to Grand Canyon University and put his efforts into his degree in Sports Management.
Since his playing days, he has had the opportunity to travel all over the country pursuing a career in player development and scouting while working for MLB teams such as the Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees and the Miami Marlins where he studied pitching, and defense.
Chris spent the 2017 season with the Miami Marlins New York Penn League team, Batavia Muckdogs as a Minor League Video Assistant, working closely with the Marlins front office.
