What should I bring to camp?
Baseball bat and helmet, glove, and a baseball hat. Batting gloves optional. Please NO catchers gear or catchers gear bags.
What should my child wear?
Athletic wear. Baseball pants with belt are optional, shorts are okay, but players will be asked to slide. Protective cup is optional. Athletic shoes,
Is water provided?
Yes, water fountains and bottle refillers are located throughout the facility.
Is there any equipment provided or loaned out?
No, WBA does not provide any baseball equipment.
Are parents allowed to watch?
We prefer parents avoid entering the training room, however there are monitors located in our lobby that provide a live feed display of the training area, as well as one-way viewing windows.
Is food allowed?
No, Unless a player is watching their blood sugar level, there will be no snack break. Please NO gum or sunflower seeds at any time.
Is this camp a good fit for all skill levels?
Absolutely, This is an All Skills camp, from beginner to advanced!
Will the players be separated into like-aged groups?
On day 1 the Gamers will be evaluated and separated into groups by skill level. (Note that this may lead to similarly aged groups.)
What is the ratio of instructors to campers?
About 1 instructor for every 7 students, depending on the overall camp attendance.
Is there a refund/change of date offered for change of plans?
No, WBA does not offer refunds.
Are there make up days?
No, we do not offer make up days for a missed session.
Can my child attend only two days for a lower cost?
No, we do not offer a prorated amount. All camps are 4 days.
Is there walk in registration?
No, registration ends 12 hours before the start of each Gritty Gamers camp.
